[00:59.9] [ Paṭisaṅkhā ] yoniso piṇḍ`apātaṃ p`aṭis^evāmi, [01:07.7] neva d`avāya, na m`adāya, na maṇḍ`anāya, n`a v^ibhūs`anāya, [01:16.2] yāvadeva ^imass`a kāyass`a ṭh`itiyā, yāp`anāya, vihiṃs`ūpar^at`iyā, brahmac`ar^iyānugg`ahāya, [01:30.5] iti purāṇañc`a ved^anaṃ p`aṭih^aṅkhāmi, navañc`a ved^anaṃ na uppādessāmi, [01:41.6] yātrā c`a me bhavissati `anavajjatā c`a phāsuvihāro cā’ti [01:51.0] Wisely reflecting, I use `almsfood: [01:55.1] not f`or fun, not for pl`easure, not for f`attening, not for beautific^ation, [02:04.3] only for th`e maintenance and n^ourishment of this b`ody, [02:09.5] for keeping it h`ealthy, for helping with the H^oly Life; [02:15.3] think`ing thus, ‘I will allay h^unger without over`eating, so that I may c`ontinue to live bl^amelessly and `at ease.’ [02:27.2] [ Paṭisaṅkhā ] yoniso senās`anaṃ p`aṭis^evāmi, [02:35.3] yāvadeva s^ītass`a p`aṭighātāya, [02:41.2] uṇhassa p`aṭighātāya, [02:45.1] ḍaṃsa-mak`as`a-vātāt`ap`a-siriṃsapa--samphassānaṃ p`aṭighātāya, [02:54.4] yāvadeva utup`arissaya v`inodanaṃ p`aṭis^allānārāmatthaṃ [03:04.2] Wisely reflecting, I use the l`odging: [03:08.4] only to ward `off cold, [03:11.0] to ward `off heat, [03:12.9] to ward off the touch `of flies, m`osquitoes, wind, b`urn`ing and cr^eeping things, [03:20.3] only to remove th`e danger from w`eather, [03:24.0] and f`or living in secl^usion. [03:27.5] [ Paṭisaṅkhā ] yoniso g`ilāna-pacc`ay`a-bhesajja-p`arikkhāraṃ p`aṭis^evāmi, [03:38.4] yāvadeva upp^annānaṃ veyyābādh`ikānaṃ ved`anānaṃ p`aṭighātāya, [03:49.8] `abyāpajjha-p`aramatāyā’ti [03:54.9] Wisely reflecting, I use s`upports for the sick and m`edicinal r^equisites: [04:01.9] only to ward off p`ainful f^eelings that have ar`isen, [04:06.8] for th`e maximum freedom from d`isease.
